● Preparation before installing drivers

Uninstall currently installed touchpad driver. 

Download and save

"Synaptics Pointing Device Driver(19.2.17.64)

A file archiver is required to uncompress driver files.

7Zip utility recommended

7-zip Home

● Installation Order

1. 1st Extract
Extract files into a folder (A) by double-clicking Dell official touchpad driver file
(Don't install the driver this time.)

You can see 3 files in the folder above named (A).

Mup.xml
package.xml
Synaptics_v19_2_17_64__C__x86-x64__Win7_Win8_Win81_Win10__Signed__MUP__DellWPF.exe

2. 2nd Extract
Extract files into a folder(B), uncompressing the file, "Synaptics*.exe" in the folder (A) with  a file archiver (7-zip).

Setup.exe
Autorun.inf
[WinWDF]

Delete the folder (A)

Device Manager / Mouse and other pointing device / PS/2 Compatible Mouse 

Click the right button of your mouse on "PS/2 Compatible Mouse"
Select "Driver Update(P)"

Select '컴퓨터에서 드라이버 소프트웨어 검색(R)'

Select '컴퓨터의 사용 가능한 드라이버 목록에서 직접 선택(L)'

Select 'PS/2 Compatible Mouse' 
Click '디스크 있음(H)'

Click '찾아보기(B)'

Select  "/ WinWDF / x64 혹은 x86 /'SynPD.inf" in the folder (B)
Click '열기(O)'

Select "Dell Touchpad"
Click "Next(N)"

"Driver Update Warning"
Click 'Yes(Y)'

Installing Drivers

Installation Finished
Click "Close(C)"

"System Setting Change"
Click "Yes(Y)"
